Hello, my name is Rose Omani. I am Dakota/Cree from Wahpeton Dakota Nation near Prince Albert SK. I have worked in Addictions field for 15 years. I was fortunate enough to be offered a full-time position as the Mental Health & Addictions Counsellor. I am grateful and thankful to be so welcomed as a part of the amazing team here at Fort Nelson Aboriginal Friendship Society. I look forward to be working with the team and sharing my holistic teachings and provide addictions treatment options to people in the community.
Counselling each client in a respectful way to grow and emerge with a healthy sense of pride and dignity. Referrals are provided to treatment facilities, and other resources. Counselling is available to anyone who needs assistance no person is refused if they ask for help.
